Another GOP official who “likes” cop-killing post

Politico is now reporting that “Corey Norris,” whom it identifies as “a district director for the Lexington County GOP,” has also approving posted the “When Should You Shoot a Cop” post, saying, “VERY good article. Think about it.”

I don’t know whether that’s the same guy as this Cory Norris out of Chapin, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Sample Tweet:

If you live with your boot on the throat of the masses, don’t be surprised if your ankle eventually gets broken.

Jeff Mattox is looking less like an aberration. As the Sage of Wichita used to say, “That’s twice. Once more and it’s a trend, and we can send it to Lifestyles.”

First, that’s a ridiculous article. It vastly oversimplifies a great many things (one of which is a SCOTUS Opinion) and goes very hypothetical to the point of absurdity. Note: Many things can be simplified, but usually SCOTUS opinions cannot.

As for anyone who “likes” this article, whether on FaceBook or otherwise, they’re a weak-minded person who can be easily manipulated. I’m thinking of Obi-Wan Kenobi saying “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for”.

Caution: Someone is wrong on the internet.

You mean what now Senator Al Franken calls, “The prestigious internet?”

    I’m shocked, Bryan, shocked…

I don’t get it. Most conservatives seem to aggressively support the military and law and order. When does this support twist into “liking” cop-killing?

@ Matt. It’s “law and order” when they arrest some “ghetto kid” for drug use. It’s “cop killer” time when they arrest “your little darling.” It’s ok for them to pat down “that Arab-looking guy.” It’s not ok for them to pat down “your blond, blue-eyed self.”

True. I have a very conservative facebook friend who constantly posts local news stories about minorities committing crimes. He usually peppers his comments with references to “stringing them up” etc. When the white kid shot the police officer in Shandon this spring he wrote an impassioned plea about good kids gone bad and how awful it was for the family.
