How about a game show?

Rob Schaller, ETV’s director of communications, said the public television network was airing the debate mentioned in my last post to help it be "known as a place people can turn to for coverage of issues that are important to them."

So does that mean Messrs. Rainey and Ravenel are going to discuss their competing theories as to what really happened to JonBenet?

Jon-Benet was taken by Elvis as a child bride. Amelia Earheart flew them to the island of Atlantis, where swim with Nessie, ponder the simplicities of Fermat’s theorem, and dine with the Kennedys.
    I thought everyone new that?

You need to work on your mean face, Tim. It’s important if you want to look authoritative whether you know what you’re talking about or not. An essential TV skill.

Brad, I ran into another guy who knows you – the director of communication I think for Tennenbaum. He used to be an editor at the State and Gville news.
He said you were a very reasonable guy. I repeated your name, “Brad Warthen…Brad of the State paper!?” He said yes.
I guess Mary hasn’t set him straight.

Yeah, and he’s got a really whacked-out sense of humor.
I will point this out in his favor, though: He’s not just the PR guy for Inez; he did the same job for Barbara Nielsen before that. I often think of that when I hear Republicans gripe about that alleged Democratic propaganda machine over at DOE. The chief propagandist has done the same job under both parties…

    Brad and Tim,
I was just poking fun at Brad. He and I had a good talk. In reality, he said that he and Brad think alike (insert joke here). I often agree with Brad (don’t tell Mary) so I give him a stamp of approval – for what little that is worth.
