Your humor isn’t lost on me Brad, I know you’re implying that Grahamnesty is safe because Ravenel is getting the headlinesand that this is intended to be a funny little diversion from the heavy issues we’ve discussed recently. Just remember that Grahamnesty really is NOT safe. I don’t know what the outcome of his re-election bid will be next year…but I know beyond a doubt what I intend to do in the voting booth. And Grahamnesty isn’t “safe” because I think there are millions of disillusioned and disappointed South Carolinians besides me who intend to do the same thing: Cast any vote necessary (for friend or foe) to ensure that Grahamnesty returns to his upstate law practice as a ex-senator. Ed
kc, I never trusted this yahoo. Anyone who can just let the lies roll off of his tongue the way Ravenel did during his campaign has deeper issues. RTH, I daresay that this is EXACTLY how he created 5000 jobs. It’s a cinch he didn’t create more than a dozen or so in whatever legitimate business he supposedly ran in Charleston.
There is another thing about this guy…I said I think he has “issues.” I just bet that we haven’t heard the last of this egotistical boob in SC politics…I have a sneaky feeling that he will re-emerge somethime down the line and attempt to re-enter politics, claiming an epiphany or a conversion experience or something. I trust the good people in this state will reject him out of hand. Otherwise…bread and circuses! Ed
I’m sorry I thought we were in America. I guess I’m not because in America people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Just ask the Duke lacrosse team!
TP, Ravenel is indeed innocent until proven guilty. No arguement from me about that.
I actually haven’t said anything about the idictment. My point has been that Ravenel is a jerk and an egotistical boob apart from and unrelated to his drug indictment. There are plenty of qualified people who aren’t a**holes who can do this job, which is really pretty inconsequential anyway. I say Ravenel is no big loss. He’s an inconsequential guy who got elected into an inconsequential job. Now he’s got legal problems. The people in this state will be better served if this idiot fights his personal battles on his own time. I say good riddance. Ed

Where oh Where have all of the sanctimonious followers gone?
It couldn’t have happened to a nicer fellow…
Is that how he singlehandedly created 5,000 jobs?
good one!
You’d think he wouldn’t have had such a problem with his long office hours
So THAT’S how T-Rav rolls.
Seriously . . . wonder how long this has been brewing?
