Check out bradwarthen.com

There's not much there — the new blog is just taking its first, teetering, baby steps — but I urge you to go check out bradwarthen.com, and watch it grow.

I will no longer be doing THIS blog after Friday, so if you want to continue the conversation, you'll have to go there. Again, that address is:

And I promise, there will be much more to see there soon…

    Good move.
At least you got to cut your teeth on this blog, at Uncle Ridder’s nickel.
As soon as I figure out how to make my web site pay its way, I might open it up to more than just invitees.

Hey Brad, I’m glad to learn that you will keep on keeping on. When you write your book, I’ll make time to read it…as long as you don’t have a chapter on your sinuses…
Lee, is your website cabal.com or rushrules.com? Is it a hall monitors only forum or can we join as well?

Let me guess, in 3 weeks the only people that will be there will be the Brad Warthen Choir.

bud, I’m not sure what’s going on there. It tells me there’s a comment, but when I try to call it up it’s not there. I added a comment of my own, and that DID show up, so I don’t know what’s happening.
I guess I’ve got a lot to learn about WordPress. Unfortunately, I can’t start learning it until the weekend, or even the middle of next week, because I’m so swamped right now. I managed to get the bare bones set up, and that’s about it for the moment.
And Bill, old buddy — that would be really nice if only the “choir” followed, but I know better than that. And while I say it would be nice, I just mean pleasant, not preferably. I want all sorts, as long as they’re civil to each other. And as you can see from the dialogues here, I have a broad notion of “civil.” But maybe you can’t tell.

Brad and KP: I just might show up now that you ask. I can’t wait… Sanford bashing; Tenenbaum praising; Capitol City Club breakfast talk; etc. Sounds exciting doesn’t it!!!

Randy E, my other discussions online are on technical subjects like bioengineering, economics and other things you don’t understand.
We also keep it civil and don’t tolerate liberal racism and envy.

I have tried to post on the new blog twice and both times it said “comment awaiting moderation.” That may have been that both comments were deemed intemperate, but I suspect that no comments will be available for the delicate eyes of the public until they have been vetted by the moderator (you?) and passed muster.

Lee, you remind me of the unfathomable number of welfare mamas I’ve known who think everyone is jealous of ’em, ’cause they’re so cute, I reckon.

The hateful comments by posters show a symptom of inferiority; the hate others as response to self inadequacy.
Maybe without gay mothers or drug addled sperm donors, these humans could also be respectable citizens in some wonderland.
    Oxymoron idealized.

    Right.
Like I didn’t get enough of the unparty (whatever the hell that is), and people who think much higher fuel taxes are just what this country needs, and idiots who love both McCain AND Obama, and a cast of dozens who think personal freedom is over rated and that individual property rights are good only in theory, and that tax policies are neat ways to shape public behaviour in a free society…
No…on second thought, I don’t think there’ll be anything on your new blog that hasn’t already been driven deep into the ground here. And…
I won’t be wasting any of my time there.
As I said (to myself) a while ago about THIS blog, I say again (publicly and preemptively) to THAT one: Good riddance.
    David
