There’s not a whole lot to be SAID about an event like Jim Clyburn’s fish fry Friday night in a parking garage in downtown Columbia. It’s too noisy to carry on even a polite conversation, much less anything like an interview. I had some brief shouted conversations with a number of Democrats running for high office, such as Vincent Sheheen and Jim Rex and Ashley Cooper and so forth, but about all I said to them was that I wanted them to be on The Brad Show, and I’m not positive they understood that much.
So just look at the pictures. About all I can tell you that you can see in the pictures is that it was steaming hot in that garage. I had to leave halfway through to ditch my coat and tie, then went back to get some more pictures.
What, no photo of you half-nekkid (by your standards). I mean, shirt-sleeves! Ye gods!
I totally agree, Brad….I stopped by and left after I saw the chaos…next year, Jim may want to have it out at the fairgrounds or someplace of that sort. The location was bizarre at best…and parking was a challenge and hazardous.
Brad,
Great to meet you at the fish fry.
Kathryn, he was definitely in shirt-sleeves with no tie!

@ Andrew
Ironic that parking was tough when you were going to a parking deck, eh? Yes, kind of a peculiar venue…
@Kathryn: Exactly…the spot was just weird and uncomfortable at best….Columbia has so many better spots to have such events 🙂
