Now, I’m going to run out and drop by a couple of election night watch parties. I may or may not post again tonight. It’s been a long day.
So you went to Charleston on a bus, road on a tugboat and came home. This is newsworthy?
Did YOU ride on a tugboat Tuesday? I didn’t THINK so. Jealous.
On McChrystal – without having read the piece, I can only recommend that if you haven’t picked up a copy of Rolling Stone lately, give it a shot. The quality of the reporting on politics, the economy, etc. has been consistently excellent for the past couple years.
Plus you can keep up with what Lady Gaga is doing.
Re Doug’s comment about Rolling Stone, I second his thoughts about the reporting, and to the McChrystal piece I would add a strong recommendation for this piece

on the Gulf oil spill, which certainly spares no criticism of Obama and especially his Interior Secretary, Ken Salazar. It’s a really good overview of the whole situation, how we got there, etc.
