   Nice. Yeah, I don’t think Trump does self-deprecating humor much (or at all).

   How about Cheney with the JR Ewing/cattle-baron hat? That’s awesome.

   It’s too bad Biden was from a part of the country where the don’t wear cowboy hats. VP Biden would have rocked a big ol’ ten-gallon hat all the time if he had been from out west. It’s just so perfectly Joe.

      Speaking of Cheney: Did you ever see this extreme panoramic photo of Obama’s inauguration in 2008? It’s pretty cool.

      If you zoom way, way in on the platform, you’ll see that Cheney was wearing a big-brimmed hat then as well. He was also in a wheelchair.

      It was sunnier that day, but apparently quite cold…

      He’s the wise-guy cowboy goading his opponent by saying, “Well, you jus’ go ahead and slap leather iffn you’ve a mind to, stranger… if ya think yer man enough…”

               Going about four left from Obi-Wan, is that Ted Cruz in the white cowboy hat with the red scarf? He’s not pulling it off.

            I like the “Thomas More style hat” observation.

            Last night, I watched that show on PBS about Henry VIII’s six wives. Catherine of Aragon was told by a physician that while she had experienced a miscarriage, the child was one of twins, and the other was still growing within her. She took great comfort from this (bogus, as it turned out) diagnosis.

            I was like, “Really? You’re going to accept the word of a guy wearing a hat like THAT?”
