Disregard previous: ACORN is in S.C.

You know how I passed on the word that ACORN had essentially been chased out of S.C. by SLED? Well, now the same source — the Charleston paper — says the group IS doing something in our state, just not the kind of voter registration shtick that it’s become recently infamous for. Here’s the story:

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also known as ACORN, is still operating in South Carolina but is focusing more on tax assistance and foreclosure assistance than on voter registration.

Head organizer Jean Busby said what voter registration work the group is doing is under the umbrella of the S.C. Progressive Network….

The Post and Courier reported earlier this month that the group was no longer in the state after repeated calls to its Columbia office were met with a busy signal, after an operator said there was no Columbia listing for the group and after a worker in its national office in Washington said the group had no presence here….

Oh, and FYI — the S.C. Progressive Network? That’s Brett Bursey’s outfit. I’m sure all of those of you who were concerned about ACORN feel much better now, knowing that. (Do I have a dry wit, or what?)

The SC Progressive Network was part of an enclave of people, ranging from soft-headed socialists who didn’t know where any of their slogans came from, to hard-core communists like the Bill Ayers and Michael Klonsky types who surround Obama.
“Progressive” is the new packaging for socialism and communism. The Democrat Socialist Alliance changed their name to the Progressive Alliance. The Congressional Socialist Alliance changed to the Progressive Caucus.
Same socialists, running on the Democratic ticket.

Taking the broad view — and I try to do that — we’re all agreed as to what’s going on here.
As always, there are people who Democrats want to see voting and Republicans don’t want to see voting.
Where we disagree is over motivation. Democrats maintain they want what they want because they believe in democracy, and that Republicans are just trying to deny poor and black and less-educated people their suffrage rights. Republicans maintain that they simply want to make sure the system is honest and aboveboard, and Democrats don’t care about that because they think people on the fringes of legitimacy (say, felons who have served their time) are more likely to vote for their candidates.
So as I said, the basic conflict is simple. But the differing views of “why” are worlds apart.

Brad, as usual, ignores the major difference in Democrats – they promote dishonest elections. They don’t care about an honest process, or about democracy, because most of them are so socialist that they believe they are justified in using any means to obtain power.
As Marx said, “The ends justify the means.”
What’s wrong with socialism is that it is a reactionary movement from 18th-century monarchal Europe. It is un-American, because Americanism is so far ahead of it.

The idea that ACORN has engaged in voter registration fraud is absurd. Under HAVA, it is the Republicans who, in red states, have purged the voter rolls of people with any discrepancies in their voter registration documents.
All of this begs the question: do we all have the right to vote as guaranteed by the 15th amendment, or do we not??
Voter registration is a product of the reaction to Reconstruction in the 1870’s. All of a sudden, people had to become registered to vote. Apart from the terrorism practiced by whites against blacks in the wake of the civil war, voter registration was a way of suppressing the vote of blacks in the South and immigrant whites in the North. The net result was that voter participation was halved in the wake of the Civil War.
Republicans are desperate to suppress the Democratic vote because they sense impending defeat. They’ve reduced taxes while spending the country into the hole. To think it is the Republican Party that is supposed to be the protector of our capitalist economy! The Republican Party used to be the party of Lincoln, but it has become the party of the rich, the racists, and the theocrats waiting on the mountaintop for a Second Coming that I am convinced will never happen (largely because there is no empirical evidence for rightwing religious nonsense).
What we need to do is eliminate voter registration prior to an election and simply register people as they vote when they show up. We have computers now. It’s amazing what they can do!!
But I think the Republicans know that if everyone gets to vote fairly, their hold on power will quickly end.
It’s not just the country that is waiting for a new day. It’s the rest of the world, too. It’s time for mature diplomacy, sensible regulation, fair taxation, reduced military spending, rationalized health care, and a general reaffirmation of America as the land of the free–not just of those who jump through voter registration hoops to “qualify.”

Even the spokesmen for ACORN admit their workers committed voter fraud; they just claim that these were a few, or few dozen…er..few hundred rogue contractors.
Somebody has been registering a lot of fraudulent voters.
    * Alabama now has more voters than there are residents.
    * Indianapolis, population 600,000, suddenly has 1,200,000 registered voters.
But Richard Lussier, is right about the rest of the socialist world praying for Obama to be elected. According to the FEC, lots of them pray to Allah, while donating money through Obama’s Internet site.
Self-loathing whites are content with flagellating themselves by supporting incompetent blacks for office. They want to punish all of Western culture, and bring it down to the level of the rest of the world, instead of bringing the rest of the world into the modern era.

I had to show a photo ID to buy a Diet Pepsi and beef jerky with a credit card at the gas station today. Why? To prevent credit card fraud. Yet Democrats and other socialists don’t want anyone to have to prove that they are legit. Its OK for ACORN to go around and register people to vote multiple times. Its OK for the Obama campaign to bus in thousands of “voters” to battleground states to sway the election. The socialists (Democrats, Bret Bursey, etc) don’t want one person one vote: they want one person to vote as many times as possible. They don’t care if you’re dead or if you don’t actually live in the precinct you’re voting in or even of you’re from a different state. Remember communism-the ends justifies the means.
Rich Lussier just admitted as much. He wants no registration, no proof of who you are or where you live. This is what Hitler did and Lenin before. They used massive voter fraud to get “elected”. Hugo Chavez, the South American Obama used voter fraud and ballot stuffing to win. This is Obama’s strategy. Its no wonder Obama gave $800,000 to ACORN-that buys a hell of a lot of votes.

The biggest threat to this nation is universal suffrage. People who have absolutely no stake in this countries well being, being allowed to vote themselves goodies from the treasury is absurd. You have multiple generations on welfare who vote themselves benefit increases at the expense of people who work seven days a week to provide for their families. These government entitlement plantation people are custom made for socialist politicians like Obama.

Many of these people are so filled with hatred and angst I really don’t mind if they stay home and draw a small check while I work. They are so disruptive in the workforce it is not worth having them around. They will break out the microscope and tweezers just to examine every facet of the workplace and there is absolutely nothing to stop them. I pray for retirement many days…..That is a pitiful place to be in….Wishing your life away over something that supposedly happened 200 years ago…..It’s not the dumbing down of America….it’s lunacy!!! The only think to stop it is vote for McCain…

    Obama is a racist.
His mother was tramp, who shacked up with a string of men, all non-white. You can see how she became a racist when you read Obama talk about her father.
Obama’s mother remarried an Indonesian Muslim, and sent Barack to fundamentalist Muslim schools, which taught that Jews and Christians were evil.
His grandfather was a white liberal racist, who saw his own racism as inherent, and saw it in every action of whites, however reasonable and colorblind, through is own racist prism. He inculcated into Obama the notion that white people were inherently racist.
Fatherless Barack looked to a friend of his grandfather as a mentor – Frank Marshal Davis, a card-carrying Communist, who hated whites, Jews and capitalism.
Obama fed himself the radical writings of Malcolm X and others.
At Columbia University, Obama roomed off campus with a Pakistani smuggler. His mentor at Columbia was professor Khalidi, a member of the PLO.
In Chicago, Obama hooked up with the Nation of Islam as a community organizer for ACORN. His mentor became Khalid Monsour, the middleman between Saudi money Black Muslims. That is also where Obama met Bill Ayers and his communist circle.
Khalid Monsour got Percy Sutton, the lawyer for Malcolm X. Sutton pulled strings to get Barack into Harvard Law School. Khalid got the money to pay for it from Prince Alween of Saudi Arabia.
After law school, Obama struggled to make a living until being hired by the Daley machine. Abner Mikva, a socialist Democrat, reconnected him with Farakan’s real estate projects and Tony Rezko.
Barack and his radical, racist wife, Michelle, joined the personality church of Jeremiah Wright, a former Black Muslim not teaching his own mix of Islam, New Testament Gospel, and his hatred of whites and Jews.
Obama’s advisors include Bill Ayers, Michael Klonsky (another Weatherman), bomber Bernadine Dorn, Harold Ickes (Stalinist upbringing), Leon Panetta (Castro Brigades), Laura Tyson (Romanian communism), etc ad nauseum.

Hmmm, so, the corrupt ACORN, after attempting to steal the election, is now creating offshoots to help the welfare class file their taxes so they can get their tax refunds and also providing them with support to keep the houses they never should have had anyway. I hate to say this but they have planned this out very well and may well succeed. The steps of socialism march on,,,,

Obama was a member of the socialist New Party and the Democratic Socialists of America.
Party newspapers contain photos and speeches by Barack Obama at socialist conventions.
If Brad Warthen would let us post pictures, I would post the scans of the newspapers. Right now,
I am working them up into a PDF file to put on a web site which will remain up and active until
Barack Obama is driven from office, any office.
Many of the New Party’s founding members were Democratic Socialists for America leaders and
members of Committees of Correspondence, a breakaway of the Communist Party USA. Obama attended
several DSA events and meetings, including a DSA-sponsored town hall meeting Feb. 25, 1996,
entitled “Employment and Survival in Urban America.” He sought and received an endorsement from
    the DSA.
Since Brad’s blog breaks my links, I am breaking them into multiple lines. If you restore them
to one line, you can get to Obama’s speeches and articles in the New Ground newsletter.

ACORN director actually worked for the Ohio Sec of State.
No wonder the Ohio Secretary of State didn’t want to challege the 200,000 fishy registrations by ACORN… the director of ACORN used to work on Sec Brunner’s campaign.
ACORN director Karyn Gillette is identified on Jennifer Brunner’s 2006 campaign website as a consultant. A blog entry by Brunner’s husband Rick talks about that relationship, saying: “our candidate had gone earlier in the day to have some meetings and work out of Karyn Gillette’s office.” He also describes Gillette as “very helpful to the campaign.”
According to campaign finance reports that were filed, Gillette was paid $21,250 by Brunner’s campaign. She has a longtime history of serving as a fundraising consultant to Ohio Democrats.
