- Morrison Endorses No One — Sometimes humility is unbecoming, and I’m afraid that’s the case in this instance. Almost a third of those who voted last Tuesday looked to Steve Morrison for leadership in this city, and he just declined a unique opportunity to lead them toward a clear conclusion in this hard-fought race.
- Kyrgyz President Bakiyev ‘will resign if safe’ — He seems to have decided he’d like to get out of this one with his life.
- Carpool lanes found unfeasible — You know those handy-dandy HOV lanes that help you zip through Charlotte or Atlanta when you’re taking the fam on vacation? Don’t look for those around here.
