I’ve been checking the Des Moines Register website tonight, and I can’t help being struck by the way Obama bought up the front-page ad space so as to dominate coverage of the Republican caucuses tonight. No matter who is momentarily ahead as Paul, Romney and Santorum vie to break out of a tie, Obama’s message plays bigger than anything else, all night.
Interesting…
There IS a Democratic caucus tonight, too.
Yeah, and we’re all holding our breath on that one…
So, did that drive Romney’s success, I wonder–Iowans realized he had the best chance of anyone likely to win the nomination (which, so far, means not Huntsman) and the whole game against Obama?
Yes. I heard on the radio that the Romney voters were older, more moderate, and concerned mainly with winning the general election.
Which I guess means the others were immature, extreme, and concerned only with making noise.
I mean, if you believe entrance polls…
“call a spade a spade”? really? Is that what you wanted to post?
I wish my evangelical brethren would call a spade a spade and identify their ideological opposition to Obama for the the racism that it often is. I think the NYT has hit the nail on the head.
