Haven’t seen any news coverage of this, but I thought it worth noting that, according to his Facebook page, Andre Bauer is again indulging his impulse to “go fast.”

This time, it’s legal.

Back on Wednesday, he promoted the event thusly:

Race tomorrow night July 4th, 2013 at Myrtle beach Speedway. I will be driving #32 for PALM Charter School. Come out and watch. It is always a good time.

Later, he reported that he came in third, and can’t wait to race again. Let’s hope that from now on, it’s on a sanctioned track.
