… because, you know, that’s the one reason most of us can think of for Joe not to run.
Anyway, watch the video, in which he tells CNN’s Kate Bolduan why “there’s no obvious reason for me why I think I should not run” for the top job in 2016.
Personally, I’d like to see Joe run, and not just because he’s fun. But, if you’ll excuse a locution even more convoluted than the Veep’s, I’m certainly not at a loss for coming up with a reason why he would decide not to.
Might I suggest that it is not so much that “Joe Biden apparently can’t think of Hillary Clinton’s name”, but that Joe Biden rarely thinks outside the political realm without drawing ridicule to what he then says. Here, though Biden has not strayed from politics, he draws ridicule nonetheless.
As a rule, presidential candidates never acknowledge potential opponents until they have actually announced, and then only when it cannot be helped. To do otherwise would be giving credit to an enemy by sharing the limelight (although in Biden’s case ‘grapefruitlight’ seems more appropriate).
Joe Biden impressed many members of Columbia Rotary, not a Democratic bunch, when he spoke there many years ago.

Mrs.MittRomneysay…. ditto! ^^^
I would vote for Joe.
me, too. He is a very smart guy who has seen a lot and learned from it. He showed great character dealing with the death of his family, and diligence nd environmental sensitivity riding the train!
He commits gaffes, just like the Bushes do. So what?
