OK, guys, calm down. I don’t mean that Debbie, or any of the other trash running through your heads. This call is from Debbie McDaniel, owner of Revente and Sid&Nancy in Five Points:
Attn all my guy friends:
We need jeans and other casual clothing at Revente’s Last Call to dress the homeless veterans that are referred to us.
These items are NOT sold, but placed in our clothing closet just for them. May be dropped off at any of our shops if you cannot get to the Millwood location. Many thanks!!!!!!
So run those old jeans on down to Debbie’s place over on Saluda. And while you’re there, tell her she should buy an ad on the blog….
Debbie cannot afford your blue chip rates–she’s totally on the reuse/recycle green end of things.
Ladies–she’s got this great resale shop on Millwood next to Ron’s that gets unsolds from Revente and other not-quite-nice-enough-for-Revente items. The net proceeds go to Sistercare!
I bought four virtually new, high end items for bupkes when I went to drop off a few things. It’s much nicer than the other thrift stores! –and did I say the net proceeds go to Sistercare?
My “blue-chip rates?”
Uh… y’all remind me NOT to ask Kathryn to help me sell ads.
Now excuse me; I’ve got to hurry and get today’s headlines up so I can get to a soiree at my club…
This was about eight hours late. I made a run to Goodwill this afternoon.
