Is Hillary going to role over and play dead or suck up and kiss up to Obama for a crumb that he might throw her way? Do not take it to the bank. This lady wants to be President. She has not put everything on the line (including her own money to keep the campaign going) to give up now.
Who would be the worst president between the two for our country? There is the known (which is Hillary) and the unknown (which is Obama). There is an old saying about it is best to know your enemy.
Obama is a puppet. He came upon the stage at a time when the country is torn apart by events that made an unknown ripe for the uninformed voters to want to hitch there wagon onto his star. We will unfortunately not know who is pulling his strings until they all gather in the White House.

Truer words have never been spoken. But beginning January 20, 2009 the world will welcome one of the most profound leaders in American history to assume his place among the greatest presidents of all time. And his name is Barack Obama.
Bud, I’m as big an Obama supporter as any out there, but let’s not put the pressure on him that he’s going to be “among the greatest…of all time.” For me, it’s quite enough that his policies seem basically on the right track, and more importantly to me, that every thing I see about him indicates that he has a good heart and he is a very sharp cookie. The tone will be different, and that will be a big thing. I’m optimistic he’ll be a good President. That’s good enough for me.
This is completely anecdotal, but I throw this out there just as an aside: Today I got an email forwarded to me from BarackObama.com that my brother had just given them money and forwarded my email address to them in case I wanted to do the same.
The point of the story is that my brother has voted Republican every election since Reagan 1980.

Those that have already drunk the bitter portion of liberalism are doomed to suffer everlasting resentment against those that offered up the portion. When they come down off of the high and realize their mistake, it is much too late to save the future of this country for their children and grandchildren.
What we do now is not a flash point that will show up tomorrow or maybe several years from now. Those that look ahead for what is best for the future of this country and take into consideration that we are responsible for the future of our children, need to know more about Obama other than he wants to give everyone in this country something. That something is at the cost of taxpayers.
He has apparently a good personality. That has gotten him where he is now. Good smile and a lot of teeth to show and jumps around on the stage while he is trying to read the teleprompter. That is not about the future of our country. That is about an individual that is promoting himself as a different politician. He did not get where he is now without planning his political future (or having someone plan it for him). You absolutely know nothing about this man except what you will not admit to yourself and that is that he has a past that would not get him even the vote from those that worry about terrorism. Do not think for a minute that when Iran gets the bomb that they do not intend selling it to the terrorist and the first thing they will do is bring it to the USA. He thinks that he is going to sit down with the leaders of terrorist nations and they will decide he is a good guy and they will not have another attack on the USA.
There are those that live in the USA that does not have a clue about what is going on and they listen to Keith O. on MSNBC.

Let me see if I can get this right. Obama is the black candidate chosen by the Democratic Party as their way of reparations that the African-Americans have been wanting. A vote for Obama will make you feel good. You are finally going to do something for the slaves that you never owned.
The black man was taken out of the jungle and brought to other country’s, including America, and sold on the market. They learned our language. They learned to read and write. They were freed. They married and multiplied. They got jobs and raised themselves to positions of responsibility and leadership. Now. What would have happened to these generations of blacks if they were never taken out of the jungles?
Having said all of that, we can talk about the first people that came over to America on the first ships that landed with most of those aboard being some type of criminal that were shipped out to get rid of them by the host country. They learned our language. They learned to read and write and became citizens of the USA as well as married and multiplied. They got the vote and here we are today.
This race for President of the USA is not about race. We have an African-American running for office and we have no real idea who he is and what part of his past he brings to the office if elected.
Obama is an empty suit puppet for a machine. His campaign is run by lobbyists from K Street, like Tom Daschle.
Obama’s speeches are full of sound and fury, signifying nothing, vapid bromides that appeal to the emotions, so that each listener thinks he hears Obama agreeing with him or her.

He says he hates America and hates whites.
His close friends are swindlers, terrorists and convicted murderers.

I just hope the blind, deaf and dumb are not the majority, or don’t vote in November. About 1/5 of the Obama supporters are convicted felons and shouldn’t be allowed to vote, if the laws are enforced.

RALEIGH, North Carolina (Reuters) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said on Monday he would impose a windfall profits tax on U.S. oil companies as he sought political gain from Americans’ pain over high gasoline prices.
Launching a two-week focus on the economy after clinching the Democratic presidential nomination, Obama drew a sharp contrast between his economic policies and those of John McCain, his Republican rival in the November election.
“I’ll make oil companies like Exxon pay a tax on their windfall profits, and we’ll use the money to help families pay for their skyrocketing energy costs and other bills,” the Illinois senator said.

Obama is a result of a political machine in Chicago that has had more convictions for dirty politics than Carter has Little Liver Pills. Obama joined the very church that would do him the most political good and has now had to denounce that very church after a couple of speeches that the majority of the people in the US would not swallow.
We could go on and on about the baggage the man carries and people seem not to care about the honesty and integrity of the very man that might sit in the oval office.

“windfall profits” is another bogus term, intended to justify stealing the hard-earned money of those who create wealth.
The oil companies don’t make that high of a profit margin, much lower than many businesses. They are just very large businesses with huge sales revenues. The took huge risks, investing hundreds of billions of dollars in exploration, pumping, shipping and refining facilities.
The real windfalls are the excess tax revenues collected by governments when the Bush tax cuts of 2001 healed the Clinton Recession and generated an economic boom.

People pay taxes. People who buy what the corporations sell pay the taxes which the governments levy on the corporations. It is that simple.
If this idiot Obama gets away with his so-called windfall profits tax, it will mean higher retail prices at the pump. That is an incontrovertible, unarguable and undeniable fact.

What would be really great … what would be helpful… is if folks on both sides would dial it down a notch or two on both Obama AND McCain.
Basically, what we have with these two guys is the best couple of candidates that reasonable people have been able to sneak past the party crazies in a generation. That’s something to celebrate.
At the same time, neither is the Second Coming. They’re only men (just ask Hillary Clinton; she’ll tell you).

I think that we are finally getting down to the nitty/gritty. Who is Obama? That is the question? I do not know in all the years that I have voted that I did not really know the candidate. I admit that I do not watch all the news networks and their take on the candidates; however, I do read and listen to all points of view pro and con. I try to get all the viewpoints and make my own decision.
The point that I am trying to make is that I do my own thinking after gathering what I consider both sides of any situation. Nobody tell me how to vote. I am not a follower.
The sad thing that we face in our country today is that there are thinkers that want to make our country great but the ones that would be the leaders choose not to run for office.
Brad, how do you explain away Obama having so many friends who are terrorists and felons, and so many connections to Hamas and Al Qaeda?
Real change for Obamaniacs would be:
* Marrying the women they get pregnant
* Graduating from high school
* Supporting their children
* Staying out of jail
