Seen on a Jeep in Lexington County over the weekend

Again, this is something I posted on Twitter, from the parking lot where I saw it on Saturday. But I figure it’s new to most of y’all. I’ll leave the commentary to you.

    Only in Lexington could a centrist be reviled.

    But then the statement was about everything other than politics, so maybe its best to ignore such tripe.

    Actually, Mark… if by “centrist” you mean Obama, I don’t think you have to go to Lexington County to hear him reviled.

    In fact, I don’t know that this Jeep was FROM Lexington County. That’s just where I saw it. And I had started to type, “in West Columbia,” but realized I wasn’t inside the town limits. At least, I don’t think I was…

    And yes, I live in Lexington County. As does Mark — right?

    Yup.

    Bush 43 was reviled, too by many. But the difference in tone is the key to the prejudice factor. When one’s world view is narrow its easy to be uneasy about otherness.
